Changing the future
It's time to stop talking about energy policy change to drive new business and start making it
This is a state that has led the world in several areas, from cars to corn flakes. Today, however, we stand at a critical juncture in developing a new industry for Michigan. It's well-known that we need to diversify the industrial base in Michigan; likewise, we know that we need to take new approaches to create further business opportunities.
As great as automotive has been, its time has passed as being the main force to sustain manufacturing in Michigan. While the industry has been revitalized, we know that it will not likely be as robust as it once was. At the same time, we have the talent, experience, and manufacturing systems to make things efficiently and well.
Clean energy technology is the future, and with $10 billion already invested and more than 220 manufacturers supplying wind and solar components, we've already started down the path to make it part of Michigan's future.
We're looking for a few good men (and women) to join an alliance that will drive business in the energy industry
For Michigan's manufacturers to leverage this base and capture the lead in clean energy technology requires forward-thinking business owners willing to collaborate with fellow suppliers and service providers to advocate for a renewable energy initiative that will serve to drive new business.
As an alliance of manufacturers and service providers, Midwest Integrated Suppliers for Renewable Energy is in the right place to serve as the unifying voice for making energy policy change.
There will be several outcomes as a result of supporting Midwest Integrated Suppliers, including a stabilized workforce, increased investment in the state, and quality renewable energy in play. It's time to stop talking about energy policy change and start making it.
We invite you to join in making it happen . . .
